Formal Living Redesign

Formal living rooms often become unused spaces - too precious for everyday life, they sit empty except for special occasions. Our challenge was to make this room both elegant and livable.

We created a seating arrangement that encourages conversation, anchored by a pair of sofas facing each other across a large ottoman that can serve as a coffee table or extra seating. The furniture is beautiful but not precious, selected for both style and comfort.

Sophisticated details like silk curtains, a vintage Persian rug, and crystal table lamps elevate the space, while comfortable upholstery and a warm color palette make it inviting for everyday use. The result is a formal living room that actually gets lived in.
